Hello! My name is Nicole Howard, and this will be my 13th year of teaching. I have taught 5th grade, 3rd grade, and a 1st and 2nd multi-age. I'm really looking forward to having all 2nd grade this year!
I am originally from Baldwin, WI. I attended UW-River Falls and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In 2011, I completed my Master's in Literacy from St. Mary's University. I love teaching all the subject areas, but I especially love reading and writing. In the primary grades, it is so rewarding to watch students connect with favorite stories and authors. I also love to engage students in the writing process of telling their stories or creating fiction adventures.
Outside of school I stay very busy with my husband and two children. Mason who is 9, and Ellie who is 6, keep us running to their favorite activities of baseball, football, basketball, and gymnastics. I also love to run and be active, bake, read, and scrapbook.
